There's A Place For You In The House

This powerful message challenges us to move beyond simply believing in God to being truly planted in His house. Drawing from Psalm 92:13, we discover that those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in His courts. The sermon uses the beautiful analogy of a potted plant versus one planted in soil. When a plant remains in a pot, its roots become restricted, growth becomes limited, and potential is contained. Similarly, when we remain disconnected from the body of Christ, we become spiritually restricted and vulnerable. The message emphasizes that God has positioned each of us in His body with specific purpose, referencing 1 Corinthians 12:18. We are reminded of the boy with five loaves and two fish in John 6:9, whose small offering became a miracle when surrendered to Jesus. The key revelation is this: God is not waiting to bless what we compare to others, but what we surrender to Him. Whether our gift seems as simple as cooking collard greens or as significant as leading worship, when we bring what we have to God, He multiplies it for His glory. This message calls us to stop sitting on the sidelines and start serving, to stop visiting and start belonging, because there is something inside each of us that the body of Christ needs.
